Responsible Gambling 🛡️
Responsible gambling means treating betting as paid entertainment, never as a way to make money or solve debts. On Tvg, which bets only on horse racing, the same rule applies: you must be 18+, and you should only stake money you can afford to lose.
Tvg is operated by ODS Technologies, L.P., part of Flutter Entertainment. Its licensing comes from US state-level advance deposit wagering (ADW) authorities, for example the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. It holds no licence valid for the United Kingdom, so it is not covered by UK Gambling Commission rules, and UK-wide schemes such as GAMSTOP should not be assumed to apply to it.
Warning signs of problem gambling
- Betting more money or more often than you planned.
- Chasing losses by placing bigger bets to win money back.
- Borrowing money or missing bills to fund betting.
- Hiding your gambling from family or friends.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not betting.
- Thinking about the next race to the point that work or sleep suffers.
If several of these sound familiar, pause and speak to someone you trust.
Self-exclusion tools
The operator does not publish UK-specific self-exclusion details that we can point you to. If you want to stop, you can close your account through the brand's support channels, such as live chat or its on-site contact form, and ask that it stay closed. Also remove saved cards and PayPal links, delete the iOS app (53.3 MB) if you use it, and block gambling sites on your devices with free tools such as Gamban or your bank's gambling block.
Setting deposit limits
Decide a budget before you play and keep to it. Payments are made by Visa, PayPal or wire transfer, so you can also check each statement for how much you have spent. Ask support whether deposit limits are available on your account, as the brand does not publish them. Many UK banks also let you block gambling transactions or set spending caps in their apps.
Never bet with rent, bills or borrowed money. Set a time limit as well as a money limit, and stop when either is reached.
